Wisdom 2
Well I had my wisdom teeth removed yesterday. My mouth is sore today. What really hurts is not my wisdom teeth, but I had my tongue clipped so I am not tongue tied anymore, so my tongue is very sore.
It was a very strange experience. I went in to the operating room and sat down in the chair, the nurse told me to roll up my right sleeve for the IV. She hooked up a blood pressure monitor to the other arm, but had to try three times and finally had me roll my sleeve up. I don’t do needles very well so when the doctor came in to give me the IV I looked away. The next thing I remember I was waking up in the chair and dad was sitting next to me. I don’t remember getting drowsy, or the room spinning or anything. It was kind of strange. I expected to at least feel drowsy or something. Oh well.

I had a similar experience when I had four teeth taken out. They inserted the needle after some comments about veins they could hit from across the room. I get that a lot. I asked the doctor what he was using to knock me out. I remember him telling me there were two rounds. The first round is “insert really long medical term I can’t pronounce much less spell here”. The second round is . . . . . ” I wake up and Kenny is making fun of the gauze in my mouth and my overall drugged reactions to everything. It felt like just seconds later, but hours had passed. It was a bit creepy.
Dude. Kinda reminds you of paycheck when he does research and forgets like 2 months of his life after they erase his memory. Craziness.
Never seen that movie, but I’ll take your word for it. All I know is it was creepy. I lost several hours and spent a couple of days doped up. Video games were very interesting. My reflexes were all messed up.
Apparantly I am very amusing drugged, when I had four teeth out they had to use a lot more drugs than expected to knock me out… then when I was ‘awake’ I was waving my arms around like a lunatic and going on about “big, green things…” oh well I get to do it again in a few weeks…
