Well I now have a 1994 Chevy Cavalier to drive around….I am excited about that. it has a cracked winshield, no AC, Chris gave me his old Stereo that was in it so it does have that, I have to gluye the rearview mirror on the outside back on, I have to find the rear view mirror on the inside, and the gas gauge doesn’t work. So it should be very interesting.

I am going to rant for a little while so this is not a post you nessecarily need to read…..

One thing that happened to me for the first time recently was I got sucked into a typical “My best friend did such and such and it really hurt me” teen drama situation. For the most part I have stayed out of such matters but recently I was somehow sucked into it (bad planning on my part). It is so stupid people mad at other people for stupid things then bringing in everyone else and saying “he did this” or “she did that” looking for sympathy. so I was on e of those they were looking for sympathy from and they got it and I got the feeling that I didn’t know how to help. And then all of the sudden everything was fine they worked it out thatnks for being there. AND THEN THEY DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN. What the crap, I mean you were just telling me that you were sorry that you had done such and such and you did it wrong……and now you are doing the same thing……It doesn’t make sense………

Ok so after drama practice tonight I went to get gas. The pump said pre-pay only so I wlked in to pre-pay. The lady at the counter was busy doing whatever. They apparently were having problems with the register. So I waited in line forever only to find out they didn’t accept checks. so I went to Wal-Mart instead. I realized that I was going to be a little late from the time I told dad. And then I had to go to the Lewis’ because Marybeth needed to pick something up. So it was about ten minutes
after I needed to leave the Lewis’ to be home on time. I figured that I could go a little fast on the highway to make up for som time. So I got on the highway going 70-75. Then suddenely the verse “Be sure your sin will find you out” popped into my head. I decided that I didn’t want to ignore it because I wanted to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit. So I slowed down to the speed lmit. Then about 3 minutes later I came around a curve and there sitting on the edge of the road was a cop. I would have been pulled over for speeding and gotten the first ticket of my life. I was and am so thankful that God reminded me of that verse.

Why do I try? If everyone is human and humans are prone to failure how do you please someone who refuses to acknowledge the things you do right and focuses on the things you do wrong? When people ask if you have done this, and that, and keep asking until they find something that you haven’t done, what do you do? What is the point of trying?

There is no rewind button on time. What I do know I can never undo. So what am I doing that is worthwhile? School certainly isn’t….I have a 4.0 and have learned absolutely nothing…..I am learning about computers and that is worthwhile….but am I impacting the kingdom of God? That is what I am here for. So am I doing what I should be doing? I really want to help further the kingdom of God. I am glad that I can help Kenny because I feel like I am using what God gave me for a good cause…..But am I doing enough?

So we are talking about Love tonight at bible study. It should be interesting. It is interesting to think about the different meanings of love, There is the love a man and woman have for each other, There is the love that a person has for their family, there is the love that God has for us, There is the love that we are supposed to have for our enemies, There are so many different kinds of love. I would say of all of these the strongest kind would be obviously the love God has for us, and secondly the love a man and woman have for each other.

I found a new thing to do while driving. I talk.. I know it sounds weird but that is what I do. I talk a lot in my head. like a whole lot. so I just say it out loud. It feels good to just be able to say things out loud and not have to worry about somone hearing.
